So, Real Racing 3 has a pretty neat customization thing. I've been painting cars. Here they are.

Kinja'd!!!

Ford Focus. Basic American white and blue stripes color scheme. The round white spots are for numbers in the future, maybe. They'll be a common theme in most of my paints.

Kinja'd!!!

Dodge Challenger with the second easiest logo I did. I wish it were a better car in the game, because I'm kind of proud of it.

Kinja'd!!!

ART CAR! Nissan R34 Skyline with a bunch of paint splattered on it. I ran out of good ideas for the R34, so it got the art car treatment.

Kinja'd!!!

Nissan 350Z, color scheme inspired by the IMSA cars. This one is kind of unfinished, since it's going to end up getting the roundels and "Nissan" across the hood.

Kinja'd!!!

Another unfinished one, the '72 Porsche 911. Livery courtesy of Gulf, and I'm trying to figure out how to do the Gulf logo. It's probably just going to be the logo sans words.

Kinja'd!!!

The first of the two M cars, the BMW Z4 M. This probably took the longest, only because I redid it about six times. The M logo on the other side is mostly over the wheel, so it's going to be redo time again soon.

Kinja'd!!!

BMW 1 M. This is the first car I did, and it's another car with multiple redo attempts. It's kind of a stylized version of the M logo. As with the Z4, I feel another redo coming on.

Does anyone else have any customized cars in RR3? I know there are better paints out there, so please share them.

What!? No!

Post them. I posted mine for criticism, and you might get some pointers if you post yours.

Besides, there are no bad liveries.

Trust me, mine are... :p I can't seem to properly control the editor, and the vinyls leave traces behind as I move them, so I didn't actually complete any to show, hahahah... All my cars are looking pretty stock, save for the wheels.

I've probably put at least an hour into each BMW redo, and each one was a complete scratch build. It's about starting with a basic idea, and then cutting away the jagged and uneven bits with small lines/shapes to even things out. It's really just a lot of patience.

For example, my gulf livery is really just two lines. One vertical and one horizontal line from the front set to paint through. A few blocks make up the car color (yes, you can change the car color with vinyls), and a few more blocks even things out and make the curves. That one took well over an hour total, but I haven't had to completely redo it. Yet.

this is called 'Wind Tunnel', cause i intended to show the teorethical parts overheated by air friction in case of a really, really fast speed (i know: i´m a nerd!)

this is really, really simple, but i love the paint pack called 'Caramel', especially this black. (REALLY Expensive, by the way!)

I have to admit in this case, the car design helps A LOT, but is works as an example of fresh ideas using the schemes offered in the game.

Fine use of the bars and circles, to form the Mopar logo. Cool

Those are my efforts so far. I had to give up from the light blue in the Dodge for the sake of vinyl numbers, this painting color isn't available for him and I reached the 50 vinyls limit. The fonts for Gulf and BMW are way off but I left them anyway. Each one took a lot of time. I'm thinking of a Martini Racing car next.
